It’s back! Starbucks Rewards members now have another chance to snag the fan-favorite Bearista Cold Cup, along with a variety of other prizes, through the coffee chain’s annual holiday game, Starbucks for Life.

The adorable glass bear, sporting a green Starbucks beanie and striped straw, caused a frenzy during its previous release, leading to shortages, long lines, and even fights. Originally priced at $29.95, some resellers listed it for as much as $500, and Walmart even introduced a copycat version.

On Sunday, Dec. 7, Starbucks shared an Instagram video teasing the cup’s return, showing four Starbucks cups being lifted to reveal the Bearista. “Your chance is in the Starbucks app. Tomorrow, 12/8,” the caption read.

The Starbucks for Life Merrython officially launched on Dec. 8 at 4 a.m. PT. However, some customers reported issues accessing the game in the app or logging in through the website.

One Instagram user wrote, “There’s nothing on the app + I keep getting an error signing in???” while another said, “It keeps saying my password is not right. I requested a reset like 5 times.” Starbucks responded, asking for more details and clarifying that Rewards members can also play the game online at www.starbucksforlife.com in the U.S. or www.starbucksforlife.ca in Canada. New members can sign up via the Starbucks app or at Starbucks.com/rewards.

The contest runs through Jan. 4 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

Each day, more than 600 Bearista cups will be awarded through the instant-win game, with a limit of one cup per person. The ultimate prize is “Starbucks for Life”, granting four winners a daily credit for one free food or beverage item for 30 years.

Other prizes include “Starbucks for a Year”, which gives 50 winners a daily credit for 365 days, as well as bonus Stars, free bakery or drink items, cake pops, and digital gift cards.

Participants can earn one prize play and one sweepstakes entry per week, with up to two prize plays per day, plus chances for additional plays.
