Actress Selma Blair was taken into custody after an alleged disturbance aboard a Delta Air Lines flight that landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Sunday evening.

According to Port Authority officials, authorities responded to reports of a passenger who allegedly became physically aggressive while Flight 938, arriving from Los Angeles, was parked at the gate. Blair was detained upon landing and transported to a hospital for medical evaluation.

Officials also confirmed that two flight attendants reported injuries, with one requiring additional treatment at a nearby hospital. The FBI has opened an investigation into the incident.

While several media outlets reported that Blair allegedly struck one flight attendant, bit another, and attempted to open an aircraft door during the flight, law enforcement officials have not confirmed those specific allegations.

In a statement, Delta Air Lines reiterated its strict policy regarding disruptive passengers, emphasizing that the airline has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior and that the safety of passengers and crew remains its highest priority.

Blair's representative told The Hollywood Reporter that the actress experienced a medical emergency during the flight, which allegedly contributed to her behavior. According to the spokesperson, she received immediate medical care after landing and is currently in stable condition.

The incident recalls a similar episode in 2016, when Blair was removed from a flight traveling from Cancún to Los Angeles after becoming distressed during the journey. She later apologized publicly, explaining that she had unintentionally mixed alcohol with prescription medication.

In 2018, Blair revealed that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), a condition she has openly discussed while advocating for greater awareness and support for those living with the disease.
