Rihanna Shares How She’s Feeling During Her Third Pregnancy: "I’m Excited!"

After announcing to the world that she’s expecting another baby, Rihanna opened up about how she’s handling her new pregnancy.

Just before appearing at the Met Gala on Monday, May 5, the 37-year-old "Disturbia" singer confirmed she’s pregnant with her third child with partner A$AP Rocky. Later, on the event’s blue carpet, she shared details about this new chapter.

"I’m good. Shockingly, I feel great and not too overwhelmed right now," the mother of two told Entertainment Tonight. "At first, it was like, ‘Ah!’ I’m tired, but I’m also really excited."

When asked if the pregnancy would delay her long-awaited ninth album, Rihanna shut it down: "No. Maybe a couple of videos, but I can still sing!"

On Monday, Rihanna and Rocky revealed they’re expecting their third child together. The singer’s photographer, Miles Diggs, broke the news on Instagram ahead of the red carpet, posting a photo of her showcasing her baby bump in the rain.

Rocky, a co-chair of this year’s Met Gala, told reporters, including The Associated Press, that it feels "amazing" to be having another baby with Rihanna. "It’s time we show people what we’ve been cooking up," he said, adding, "I’m glad everyone’s happy for us because we’re definitely happy."

The couple already shares two sons: Riot Rose, 21 months, and RZA Athelston, who turns 3 this month.
