Pippa Middleton and Husband Make Major Announcement About Their Property Amid Concerns

Pippa Middleton, Princess Kate’s sister, and her husband, James Matthews, shared big news about their property, Bucklebury Farm, despite unresolved issues regarding a planned development at the site.

In a social media post, the farm confirmed that tickets for its "Christmas Grotto" will go on sale soon—even though it’s still peak summer. The post joked, "Is it too soon to mention... Father Christmas?!" acknowledging the early timing, as children haven’t even started their summer holidays yet.

Meanwhile, the couple’s plans to build a countryside nursery at the same location face obstacles. Highway authorities raised "significant concerns" about increased traffic from the proposed facility, recommending the planning application be denied.

The £1.5 million, 72-acre estate in Berkshire features a deer park, a café, glamping pods, and a children’s play area. Open to the public since 1992, the farm also has a petting zoo that was a favorite of Prince George during visits to his grandparents.

In recent years, the couple has expanded activities at the site, which welcomed 45,000 visitors in 2023, hosting social events, parties, and even Pilates classes. However, West Berkshire Council’s highways department argued that the nursery would cause an "unacceptable increase in vehicle movements" in an area with no alternative transportation options other than private cars.
