NVIDIA and Intel Announce Strategic Partnership in AI and Personal Computing

NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) and Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) today announced a long-term collaboration to develop multiple generations of custom products for data centers and PCs, designed to accelerate applications across enterprise, consumer, and hyperscale markets.

The partnership will center on integrating both companies’ architectures through NVIDIA NVLink, combining Intel’s CPU leadership and x86 ecosystem with NVIDIA’s expertise in artificial intelligence and accelerated computing.

In the data center segment, Intel will produce custom x86 CPUs to be incorporated into NVIDIA’s AI platforms. For PCs, Intel will manufacture x86 SoCs with NVIDIA RTX chiplets, designed to deliver high-performance computing and advanced graphics integration in personal devices.

As part of the agreement, NVIDIA will make a $5 billion investment in Intel common stock at a purchase price of $23.28 per share, subject to regulatory approvals.

The CEOs of both companies will host a webcast press conference today at 10 a.m. Pacific Time to discuss the details of the partnership.
