Highlights from Michigan vs. Southern California

LOS ANGELES (AP) — It was a night full of energy and intensity as Southern California and Michigan clashed in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 11, 2025.

USC wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane (8) made a spectacular touchdown catch over Michigan defensive back Jyaire Hill (20) in the first half, igniting the Trojans’ offense and drawing cheers from the home crowd. Moments later, Lane celebrated his score with teammates as USC gained early momentum.

Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood (19) showed poise under pressure, connecting on several key passes and demonstrating why he’s considered one of the top young quarterbacks in the nation. On the opposite sideline, USC quarterback Jayden Maiava (14) led the Trojans’ offense with confidence, delivering accurate throws even while under heavy Michigan pressure.

Running back Waymond Jordan (2) battled for tough yards before being brought down by Michigan linebacker Ernest Hausmann, as both teams fought to control the ground game. Wide receiver Makai Lemon (6) added excitement for USC with a burst past Michigan’s secondary, slipping by Brandyn Hillman (6) for a big gain.
