Fortnite is preparing to close out Chapter 6 and its special The Simpsons mini-season on Saturday, November 29, 2025, with a live in-game event titled Zero Hour. Once the event concludes, Chapter 7 will officially launch.

Fortnite Zero Hour – Start Time

The Zero Hour live event begins on November 29, 2025, at 2 PM ET / 11 AM PT.
The event lobby opens 40 minutes earlier, at 1:20 PM ET / 10:20 AM PT, giving players plenty of time to load in before things kick off.

To ensure a smooth experience, it’s highly recommended to log in as early as possible. Server traffic is expected to surge, which could cause login issues similar to those seen during the Simpsons “Welcome, Our Alien Overlord” event earlier in November.

Details about the event remain limited, but we know that characters from Fortnite’s past and future collaborations will unite against a new threat known as the Dark Presence. The teaser trailer features figures like Giant Homer, Godzilla, King Kong, and The Bride from Kill Bill.

How to Watch the Fortnite Zero Hour Event

To view the Zero Hour live event, log into Fortnite at least 40 minutes before start time—though joining even earlier is advised. After logging in, navigate to the Discover section under the PLAY tab.

There, you’ll see the banner for the Zero Hour event. You won’t be able to enter the lobby until 1:20 PM ET / 10:20 AM PT, so don’t worry if it’s unavailable before then. Select the banner to open the event page and join as soon as the doors open.

When Does Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 Begin?

After Zero Hour ends on November 29, 2025, Fortnite will go offline for maintenance to launch Chapter 7, Season 1.
According to the countdown shown at the end of the live event, CH7S1 is scheduled to go live at 9:30 PM ET / 6:30 PM PT, though this timing may still change.
