Hollywood celebrities are mourning the death of legendary actor and martial artist Chuck Norris, honoring his legacy both on and off the screen.
Sylvester Stallone, who starred alongside Norris in The Expendables 2, shared a behind-the-scenes photo and reflected on their time together. “I had a great time working with Chuck. He was All-American in every way,” Stallone wrote. “A great man, and my condolences to his wonderful family.”
Jean-Claude Van Damme also paid tribute, recalling their long-standing friendship. “My deepest condolences on the passing of my friend Chuck Norris. I always respected the man he was. He will never be forgotten.”
Other stars joined in honoring Norris. Lorenzo Lamas described him as “an angel at the gates,” while Mario Lopez wrote that Norris “didn’t die—he simply completed his mission.”
Norris’ family confirmed his passing in a statement, saying he died peacefully surrounded by loved ones. They described him as a global symbol of strength and discipline, but above all, a devoted husband, loving father, and the heart of their family.
After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Norris built a successful career in martial arts, opening studios that attracted celebrities like Steve McQueen, who later encouraged him to pursue acting.
He went on to star in films such as Missing in Action and The Delta Force, but became a household name through the hit TV series Walker, Texas Ranger, which defined his career for a generation.
Chuck Norris is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Gena O’Kelley, his children, and a lasting legacy that inspired millions around the world.
