Fenix 9: Premium Performance for Multisport Athletes
The standard Fenix 9 features a 43mm titanium case with a fiber-reinforced polymer body, a vibrant AMOLED display, and multi-band GPS supporting GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, and Garmin's SatIQ technology for improved positioning accuracy.
Other key specifications include:

Fenix 9 Pro Adds Premium Upgrades
The Fenix 9 Pro builds on the standard model by introducing several exclusive features aimed at serious adventurers and endurance athletes.
Among its highlights are:
A significantly brighter AMOLED display

Full titanium construction
Green and red LED flashlight for night visibility
Optional solar charging on larger models

Garmin says round-trip route calculations are now 40% faster than on the previous generation, while a redesigned mapping engine delivers smoother navigation and new angled map perspectives.
New Software and Training Features
The Fenix 9 family introduces several new software tools focused on training analysis and outdoor activities.
One of the biggest additions is Garmin Epic, a feature within Garmin Connect that allows users to group multiple workouts or outdoor adventures into a single shareable experience, complete with notes and photos.
Other new capabilities include:
Personalized stamina zones
Enhanced stamina tracking with new visual performance curves
Improved PacePro pacing guidance
Updated ClimbPro climbing assistance
Faster and more detailed onboard maps with entire continents preloaded
Expanded Outdoor Capabilities
Garmin also added specialized features for outdoor athletes.
Rucking enthusiasts can now adjust backpack weight during an activity, while indoor rowing workouts receive new performance metrics, including power curve analysis and targeted intensity tracking. Garmin also announced an upcoming collaboration with GoRuck.
Improved Safety and Connectivity
The Pro models offer expanded safety features through LTE connectivity and Garmin's inReach satellite communication service.
The upgraded LiveTrack system integrates more closely with Garmin Messenger, while the new Garmin Locate feature allows approved Garmin Connect users to check a wearer's location without requiring LiveTrack to be active.
Additionally, Garmin is providing 12 months of SOS messaging for Pro models even after an inReach subscription is suspended, adding another layer of emergency support for outdoor adventures.
Designed for Serious Athletes
With premium materials, brighter displays, enhanced navigation, expanded training tools, and improved safety features, the new Fenix 9 lineup is designed for runners, hikers, cyclists, mountaineers, endurance athletes, and outdoor explorers seeking Garmin's most advanced smartwatch experience.
The launch reinforces Garmin's position in the premium multisport smartwatch market, offering a broad range of configurations to suit users with different training needs, adventure goals, and budgets.
