“Dancing with the Stars” – Week Two Brings Improvements and First Double Elimination

The second week of Dancing with the Stars showcased major improvements across the competition but also marked the season’s first double elimination.

Actor Corey Feldman and former NBA star Baron Davis were sent home after underwhelming cha-cha and samba performances.

Meanwhile, Robert Irwin and partner Witney Carson tied at the top of the leaderboard with Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas, both earning a total of 37 points across the first two weeks.

Irwin called the experience “surreal” and touched fans by sharing a video of himself dancing with his niece Grace, praising her natural talent and energy.

Another standout was Elaine Hendrix, who received loud cheers from her Parent Trap co-star Lisa Ann Walter during her cheerleader-themed jive to Mickey.

Actress Danielle Fishel also pushed through a hamstring injury to perform her cha-cha, demonstrating grit and determination.

Fishel teared up as she praised her fellow contestants: “Everyone here wants this so badly and is working so hard. The pros give everything to make us shine. I just want everyone to know how special and incredible this is.”

Dylan Efron noted the physical changes from the rigorous training, sharing that he’s already losing weight and needing costume adjustments.

Next week, the theme will be TikTok Night, with Season 31 champion Charli D’Amelio making a special guest appearance — a fitting tribute to where her stardom began.
