CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA — Apple today introduced iPhone 17e, a powerful and more affordable addition to the iPhone 17 lineup.

Powered by the latest A19 chip built on advanced 3-nanometer technology, iPhone 17e delivers fast, efficient performance for everyday tasks, gaming and AI-powered features. It also includes Apple’s new C1X cellular modem, offering up to twice the speed of the previous generation while improving energy efficiency for all-day battery life.

The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display features Ceramic Shield 2, providing three times better scratch resistance and reduced glare. The device is built with aerospace-grade aluminum, carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, and supports MagSafe for fast wireless charging and accessory compatibility.

Photography gets a boost with a 48MP Fusion camera capable of next-generation portraits, 4K Dolby Vision video and an optical-quality 2x Telephoto option. Satellite features — including Emergency SOS, Roadside Assistance, Messages and Find My via satellite — help users stay connected when outside cellular or Wi-Fi coverage.

Available in black, white and a new soft pink finish, iPhone 17e starts at $599 with 256GB of storage — double the base storage of the previous generation at the same price. Pre-orders begin March 4, with availability starting March 11.
